Artificial Intelligence: For the last few months, there has been an uproar regarding jobs in the tech field and the reason for this is the launchings like ChatGPT, BardBing. The competition is getting tougher all the time. According to a news from India Today, after the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, Google and Microsoft introduced their own AI tools Bard and Bing in February. These three AI tools have remained a topic of discussion in the world of tech since then. More and more companies are engaged in making better use of Artificial Intelligence, due to which about 4,000 people lost their jobs in May 2023.

AI became the reason for people losing their jobs

According to the report of India Today, in May 2023 i.e. last month, 4,000 people were removed from the job due to the use of AI working in the tech sector. While the number of people who have lost their jobs in different fields is around 80,000. Due to which things like economic condition, cost cutting, company reshuffle and merge happened.

According to the news, from January to May 2023, the number of people losing their jobs is about 4 lakhs, who had to lose their jobs. This is the first time that people working in the tech sector have lost their jobs due to Artificial Intelligence.

According to the news, in February also a job survey was done regarding the jobs of the people. According to which some US based companies had started working with ChatGPT instead of humans. About 1,000 business leaders participated in this survey and more than half of the US companies who participated in the survey said that they are using ChatGPT and chatbots, which have been replaced with employees.
